Hey everybody,

I am in transition ... finally ... YES!

Reorganizing, reshaping, re-creating my body, my mind, my Self ... my life ...

It's an adventure, a journey ... with open end and destination ...

But one thing I know for sure ... music will stay forever ...

I am amidst taking my music compositions to the next level,

working towards a portfolio for TV and streaming-platforms ...

A happy and exciting New Year everyone!

Keep on rocking!

Past the Crossroads (The Sorcerer Part One) - Sketch for film music project ...

Blog-Wise >>

Am studying a lot these days (and nights). Trying to manifest what I learn about mixing and technical stuff into my current projects ... one huge and still beginner-level piece of work is my film-music-project. So here comes a rather rough composition, accompanying Sorcerer when he has passed the crossroads and the Nornir/Fates stand aside, veiled in clouds and foggy sceneries to watch (and manipulate) his steps. During the icy nights of an icelandic winter he has to get his guts and courage and desperation fixed to journey to the sacred island in the north ... he does not know though, that something is following him on his path ... likewise desperated and past its crossroads as himself ...

Multilayered composition and I had some "almost-nervous-breakdowns" during my various attempts to get the different rhythmic patterns together and somewhat  "fitting to one another" *argx. Theoretically it is pretty easy in Logic as long as it is a Midi-file/-track. But it was not easy at all mainly due to latency-impact and my visionary stubborness wanting to add FX (effects) stuff here and there (and not wanting to spread them across the whole track). I have learnt a lot out of that ... not only techniquewise, also "novelwise" as creating sounds for my novel-characters opens new pathways to communicate with them and understand their storylines more deeply.

For the blogversion I added a track of solo tenor-flute ... (real flute). Recorded live with Logic Pro X.
