great news!
 
My transition is in progress ... and it feels like a second birth. I am so f*cking grateful for this opportunity.
 
In terms of music I have been productive ... and, yes ... visible changes here, too. 
Arrangement/style of tracks and - of course - pitch and quality of my vocals have changed. Had to adjust the requirements for recording/producing a great deal. *har!

Some guys keep on asking, what I did to and with my drums .... Hey, guys, they are still with me and yes, they do feel just a bit deserted ... The reason behind is, that I still have some trouble to mix/master these traditional instruments in combination with "others", such as synths, as they are interacting and interfering with EQing and dynamics like comp and limiter in a very "special" (= rather unpredictable and stubborn) way ... But of course I won't give up on this, 'cause I am stubborn myself, YES!  So here comes one of those current works/attempts  ...   hope you enjoy .... 

 

Remastered 11th of May: So ... I've finally (?) arrived at a mastering "compromise": I love the Imager and EQing of Ozone ... especially if you are crazy about weird delays and reverbs ( ... ahem ... ), Ozone is great to deal with the different layered reverb-spaces .... But sometimes I need to tame Ozone to meet the loudness-requirements and my own visions of dynamics. This works perfectly with Logics mastering-tools (yes, one can set loudness-targets with Ozone, but I just don't like the resulting sound(s) and intensities ... got my own visions of which parts of a composition "should" be louder/more intense and which shouldn't).
